What do you get for a 14th anniversary? Apparently, gold. Or at least that’s the modern anniversary gift. Of course a glass full of liquid gold could lead to any number of tasty beers, take Capital Gold or Over the Ivy or Old Tavern for example! For our anniversary though, something a little more unique was in order. So it was that during one particular brainstorming session, gold led to karats. Karats became carrots. Naturally, carrots pointed to cake. Cake, as we all know, is the modern inspiration for anniversary stouts! And so we present 14 Karat Cake, a rich carrot cake-inspired stout brewed with carrots, vanilla and warm baking spices. Sweet, slightly tangy, and absolutely decadent, it’s an anniversary worthy stout made to celebrate fourteen years of doing what we love. It might not be 24 karat, but after fourteen years, 14 Karat feels just right. Thanks to you for every pint, every visit and every year you’ve spent with us along the way. Here’s to many many more!
